12 Types of Students Before Exams is a Season 1 episode from the Titan Academy series. It is the 4th episode in Season 1, and the 4th episode overall. It was released on 7 October 2018.
This episode follows the students of Class T1-T5 as they prepare for their yearly examinations that is going to take place the following day.
Synopsis
It's that time of the year where exams begin to haunt every student's life. Which type of student are you?
Plot
The Day Before The Exams
Miss Siti enters the classroom of T1-T5 and reminds Class T1-T5 that their exams are starting tomorrow and reminds the procedure: Don't be late and advises the students to use the study period to revise and she good lucks them while walking away sideways.
The Well-Prepared (Denise)
Denise opens her books full of notes, Aurelia notices her and asks her what are those papers. She answers that those are her notes, she explains that she uses colours because they help her study better, fun and prettily. She ends her speech with the phrase "I love studying". After that, Aurelia worries that she gonna fail, then she sadly opens her book.
The Unprepared (Aurelia)
Aurelia later asks Denise to test each other, Denise then asks her the process of photosynthesis, Aurelia answers the question smoothly but later on stutters the answer, Denise reminds some words, she boosts her answer but later stutters again. She was furious because she can't remember anything, she takes a ruler and hits herself many times saying "Hate myself!". Debbie finally stops her and asks if she could get her ruler back.
The Train Wreck (Kevin)
Kevin is worriedly complains that there's too much to study and if he fails that exam, his mom would take him to TAF club and boarding school and every time he revises he still keep failing. Two students (Anna and Joanna) tries to comfort him but failed. Xin De and Ben then bully him for being a crybaby. After that, Kevin sadly ran away.
The New "Friends" (Xin De & Ben)
Xin De and Ben later approach Ren Yi Xiang. Confused, Ren Yi Xiang asks them what they want. They answers that they're wanna be his friends and Ben says: "Friends share notes together, right?". Ren Yi Xiang then says that either of them had talked to him before. Xin De offers him to go to his weekend's party and to be on the guest list. Ren Yi Xiang asks what is a guest list. JiaoHao later got them out of Ren Yi Xiang, later he gifts him new colored pencils. Ren Yi Xiang was in delight and JianHao secretly takes Ren Yi Xiang's notes. He catches him and take it back. Disappointed, JianHao flips the pencil case.
The Defeated (Danial)
Danial approaches Ryan to persuade him to not study because he doesn't mind failing and staying back another year. Ryan denies the offer because he doesn't want people to laugh at him. JianHao later comforts him and taking about Dee Kosh staying back for more than 3 years. They then look at Dee Kosh, but then he looks back with discomfort to them. They immediately take their eyes off him and JianHao advises not to stare at him again.
The Multi-Tasker (Ren Yi Xiang)
Ren Yi Xiang is seen sharpening his colour pencils that JianHao gave to him. He then realizes that he didn't much time so he has to study while doing a lot of tasks. Kai later asks him to play football, he denies it but after Kai's offer to be a keeper, he accepted it. After four times hitting the ball perfectly, he is getting thrown by a lot of balls, dissatisfying him.
The Study Group
Aurelia invites a lot of students to a group study. But instead of studying, the group hangs out to the cafeteria talking about Kevin's drama earlier. Aurelia then reminds the group that it has been forever since they were together. Unfortunately for them, the school bell rang when we are taking a picture. Aurelia was surprised because they haven't studied anything, Aurelia wishes everyone good luck while they are returning to class. Meanwhile, Sikeen jumps off the balcony. Unexpectedly, he came up with his notes.
The Chill Student (JianHao)
Joanna asks JianHao if he is going to study for the exam. He says he is going to study later, he then says a "logic": The more last minute he studies, the fresher it will be in his head. He suggests to chill because there is more time. The student reminds him that the exam is tomorrow. He suggests the same thing again.
The Procrastinator (JianHao)
When JianHao finally decides he will study, but he procrastinate to do everything else except studying like: changes his clothes, playing Fortnite with Danial, get some water and even comparing two different Red Bull cans. He says comparing them is "interesting stuff".
The Motivated-to-Study (JianHao)
JianHao then decides to study. He then does things like rolling up his sleeves, fixing his pen, fanning himself, licking his fingers to open pages, cleans his folder, rolling up his trousers but he then plays with his book. He stops himself then open his book to study. But after he reads out loud a sentence, he lazily treats himself with a break.
The Desperate Student (JianHao)
JianHao is seen praying to someone to let him pass his exam and promises he would stop playing Fortnite if he did. He complains when there's a new exam comes out, there's a new Fortnite season. He then prays the school to be destroyed by a meteor for better. Nicole interrupts him by asking what he was doing. JianHao claims he was just trying to memorise stuff. He then asks Nicole if she studied, which shocks her, meaning that she didn't study too. The two then desperately pray the same thing JianHao did: the school is destroyed by a meteor. A doorbell then interrupts both of them, it turns out to be a tenant who JianHao was expecting. They soon walks away talking, leaving Nicole alone.
The Last-Minute Students
A lot of students gathers in front of the classroom, doing last minute studies and asking each other question worriedly. Denise then walks past them and they asks if she studied last night. She answers with no and didn't study much last night. The group joys but Denise explains why didn't study much last night because she had been paying attention and taking notes since the start of the year and there's so much content that it's impossible for her to cramp it all last minute. She then walks away, leaving the group devastated and broke apart because they're going to fail.
The Oblivious Student (Naomi)
The group still worries that they're gonna fail while Naomi walks into thems asks what commotion is about. JianHao asks her still being in their class despite her 9 months of pregnancy. JianHao then tells her that day is theirs science exam, which disappoints Naomi because no one told that day is theirs science exam. She then ran away to puke. JianHao says it maybe a good time to be pregnant.
The Cheater (Class T1-T5)
JianHao is seen going to the bathroom desperately and he hides his cheat notes under the sinks. Dee Kosh enters the bathroom caught him doing that. He then tells JianHao to follow him. Later, in classroom T1-T5, Dee Kosh talks about the cheating attempts that he saw for many years (3 failed, 1 success). Then he talks about his master cheating plan requiring the classroom itself. They then practise and they succeeded. Dee Kosh then cries in joy.
5 Minutes Before The Exam
Mr. Papadum enters Class T1-T5 and grabs the aircon controller. The scene then shows Class T1-T5 standing outside encouraging Denise and each other to do the plan well. Mr. Papadum is unable to turn on the A/C so he has to move them into another classroom which doesn't have the requirements to do the plan (windows). The group then turned down defeatedly.
